Steven Prusky, President and Owner

Steven Prusky has been affiliated with Windsor since serving as a summer employee in 1982. After receiving a Computer Science degree from Brown University with Honors, Mr. Prusky returned to Windsor full-time to automate the firm’s data collection process, beginning the important transition away from manual data collection and processing. He has remained with Windsor ever since, progressively moving through all positions, and eventually purchasing the firm in 2005.

Mr. Prusky began his investing career in 1987, when he co-developed Windsor’s first “black-box” trading strategy, and he has been a key architect of each subsequent trading strategy used at the firm.  Throughout the 1980s and 1990s he continued intense research on equity markets while becoming the chief client liaison and one of Windsor’s two investment managers. In rapid succession, Mr. Prusky received his series 7 and series 24 (both are not active since the firm is no longer a broker-dealer). Shortly thereafter he received his insurance license and series 3 (both extant) and started MFIP, Inc., a CTA.

In his role as President, Mr. Prusky continues research by strategically applying technical analysis to the equities and futures’ markets.

Mr. Prusky has been married for 20+ years and is a devoted father of five children. His passions include travel, the environment, and education. He serves on the Board of two private charitable foundations and two NGOs, one providing environmental education and experience to youth in the U.S., the other providing emergency and infrastructure relief both domestically and abroad.

Michael Chang, Senior Director – Technology

An accomplished master programmer and logician, Michael Chang has been affiliated with Windsor since 1984. Dr. Chang graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), received an MBA from the Sloan School of Businesses Management at MIT, and a PhD in Business from Stanford University. He was teaching at the Wharton school in 1984 when he was recruited by Windsor. Dr. Chang has been with the firm ever since, and leads the management of Windsor’s data systems and operations.

Dr. Chang is multi-talented and philanthropic, graciously offering his insight and services to a number of important community organizations, each of which has been elevated thanks to his invaluable advice and assistance.

Dr. Chang has been married for over 35 years and is a father of two children.

David Bahlavooni, Research Coordinator

David Bahlavooni has been with the firm since 1997. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in April 1996, Phi Beta Kappa and with a GPA of 4.0. He has a long-term passion for finance and within a year of graduation Mr. Bahlavooni and Windsor found each other. He started in the firm’s research department, collecting and massaging data. Since then he has taken the lead in moving most of the firm’s “first pass” research to Excel, where he has developed an expertise in Visual Basic, database design (Access and SQL), and data-vendor interfaces. In 2008 Mr. Bahlavooni began managing a small portion of internal capital and continues to develop a keen market savvy.

Mr. Bahlavooni is a devoted member of his church community, where he is the children’s pastor and through which he and his family are involved in charitable missions both domestically and internationally. He is married and a father of four.
